A machinic moon slowly phases in and out of visibility behind fractured cathedral glass. Digital static flickers through the rosetta pattern like unstable constellations.

The work continues the Virtual Sun series, where sunlight, celestial orientation, and atmospheric phenomena are reconstructed through LEDs, Fresnel optics, and electrical systems. Here the night sky itself becomes programmable. Cosmology survives as luminous interface.

Stained-glass windows once organized transcendence through sunlight entering sacred architecture. Prélude à la Nuit redirects that logic through circuitry, simulation, and spectral projection. The sacred returns as technologically maintained apparition.

Light persists after the disappearance of shared metaphysical horizon.
