Shortcut to God consists of a wooden crucifix wired into an active wall socket. The work collapses spiritual transcendence into electrical infrastructure, transforming salvation into a question of immediate physical contact.

Positioned between devotional object, household technology, and latent threat, the sculpture stages faith as a short circuit between belief, risk, and desire. The crucifix no longer mediates transcendence through ritual or doctrine, but through the logic of connectivity itself.

By merging religious iconography with the standardized interfaces of contemporary power systems, the work examines how infrastructures increasingly replace metaphysical frameworks, offering instant access while emptying revelation of distance, mystery, and transformation.
