Frankincense consists of a wooden cross holding a single burning incense stick. The cross no longer functions as narrative symbol but as support structure for an automated devotional gesture.

Oscillating between sacred object, apparatus, and residue, the work stages spirituality as atmosphere: dispersed, procedural, and slowly dissolving into air.
