Rain Machine V02
Rain Machine V02 consists of interconnected machine modules generating continuous water circulation across burned terracotta surfaces. Pumps, tubes, moisture, and mineral matter assemble into an atmospheric system in which rainfall is technologically reconstructed as controlled environment.
As water disperses through the installation, droplets accumulate, echo, evaporate, and return, producing shifting acoustic textures, microbial growth, condensation, and the scent of wet clay. Over time, the work develops into a fragile ecosystem suspended between infrastructural control and organic emergence.
Positioned between weather system, ritual apparatus, and climatic simulation, Rain Machine V02 examines how elemental phenomena increasingly reappear through technological mediation — atmosphere reformatted as circulation, maintenance, and private infrastructure.
